Isaacs, himself, was made into a religious mad man that was a co-founder of Umbrella but previously he was NOT a co-founder. They changed the Outbreak as depicted in the films to be intentional from a Religious psycho that wanted to wipe the Earth clean when, in fact, it wasn't intentional at all - Spence infected the Hive to "bring Umbrella down" and Raccoon City was infected when a secondary team re-opened the Hive to find out what happened.ĭr. They changed the origin of the T-Virus simply so they could establish that Alice was the little girl the Red Queen was based off of AND that she was a clone of the girl. So the events of the previous film now serve no purpose. except she was ALREADY trapped by Umbrella at the start of Retribution. It nullified the events of the previous film by claiming Wesker still worked for Umbrella and had simply set up a trap for Alice.

The Final Chapter wrapped up the story of The Final Chapter but it completely contradicted the previous films established plot so I certainly wouldn't say it wrapped up the series well at all. If you actually read this, then thanks and maybe sorry, if you carried on dispite the spoiler warning. When you find out Isaacs was a clone as well was pretty cool, and how the real one was major OP was good, like a final boss sort of thing, and I think Wesker's death could have been better, or had more of an impact, but I find it funny how was just fired so easily and straight away got trapped and was dying without a fight, sort of shit on his parade which was funny in a sense.Īll in all, great film, and has inspired me to rewatch them all again, yes, including Retribution. I feel that the fact that Alice was sort of in 3 parts in 3 different states (cryogenically frozen, AI and obviously normal Alice) was a nice touch, I had a feeling she was a clone all along but the way they explained how she was, was rather well done IMO. This film wrapped up the story nicely for me, with the story being a bit nitty gritty from time to time, I feel this give us the necessary ending for how the story was going, Alice got her answers, and everything was relatively set right, I'm gonna have some spoilers from here on out, so of course, if you haven't seen it but plan on it, don't read on. Okay, so I don't see the films ever getting discussed on this sub, I don't know if there is a different place for them, but I couldn't find one, so here it goes.
